This notice explains how personal data is processed in the current local website preview and when you contact us.

2. Current local preview
The website is not currently publicly available. The local preview server processes the connection and request data needed to deliver the requested page or file. It does not maintain its own visitor logs, visitor statistics or login system. The website code does not store request data permanently.
Where personal data is processed in this context, this is for technical delivery and functional testing under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is a functional and secure website preview.
3. Planned public hosting with STRATO
STRATO Hosting Starter is planned for a future public release. The provider is STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin. This hosting has not yet been set up for the current preview.
With such hosting, technical data such as IP address, access time, requested resource, browser information and, where applicable, the referring page may be processed for delivery, stability and security. The purpose is to provide the website and prevent technical disruptions and misuse; the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and the corresponding legitimate interest. STRATO would receive the data necessary to provide the hosting service.
STRATO states that IP addresses stored for security purposes are retained for no more than seven days. This is a statement by STRATO as the provider, not a retention period for all data or for the local preview server. Details of the hosting actually set up will be specified before publication.
4. Contact and property enquiries
If you contact us by email or phone, we process your contact details and the information you provide. Depending on the enquiry, this may include your name, email address, phone number, the content of conversations or messages, property details and submitted photos. We use this data to answer your enquiry, discuss your plans or prepare a quotation.
For enquiries relating to the preparation or performance of a contract, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. We process other enquiries under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is to respond appropriately to enquiries and conduct our business communications. Where statutory retention obligations apply, Article 6(1)(c) GDPR is the legal basis.
The data is received by the people responsible for handling the enquiry and, where necessary for transmission and provision, the email or telecommunications providers we use. Further disclosure takes place only where required for the particular assignment or provided for by law. Please submit only the information and photos needed for your enquiry.
5. WhatsApp
The WhatsApp button and the locally stored QR code link to an external service. Simply visiting this website does not cause the website code to connect to WhatsApp. You access WhatsApp only when you follow the link or open the QR code destination. Technical data such as your IP address, browser and device information may already be transmitted to the service at that point.
The provider is WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland. If you send us a message there, we receive the contact and message information you provide and handle your enquiry for the purposes and on the legal bases set out under “Contact and property enquiries”.
WhatsApp also processes technical, account and usage data under its own responsibility. This may involve international data transfers. Details, safeguards and rights are explained in the WhatsApp privacy policy. You can contact us by email or phone instead.
6. Applications by email
Our job listings link to your email application. No application documents are uploaded to the website. If you apply by email, we process your contact details, information about your previous experience and any documents you voluntarily submit in order to review your application and contact you.
The legal basis is Section 26(1) of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), insofar as processing is necessary to decide whether to establish an employment relationship. Where applicable, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR also applies to necessary pre-contractual steps. Access is given to the people responsible for the recruitment process; the email providers used assist with transmission and provision. The website does not make automated recruitment decisions.
7. Retention
Enquiries and application data are retained only for as long as needed to handle the enquiry, conduct the recruitment process or perform a resulting contract. The data is then deleted unless retention is necessary to establish or defend claims, or a statutory retention obligation applies. If you are hired, the necessary data will continue to be processed for the employment relationship. Any longer retention based on consent is governed by the purpose of that consent, which may be withdrawn with effect for the future.
8. Cookies, analytics and embedded content
The website code does not set cookies or use LocalStorage or SessionStorage. No analytics or advertising services, external fonts, social media embeds, contact forms or AI chatbots are integrated. Images, styles and scripts are served locally with the website; fonts come from the visitor’s device. Assistance in creating texts and images is not an AI service for visitor enquiries.
Email and phone links open the relevant application on your device. No message is sent automatically. Processing of data on external destination sites is governed by the information provided by their respective operators.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing. A right to data portability exists where the legal requirements are met. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future; this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. Please use the contact details above to exercise these rights.
Right to object
Where we process data under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then stop processing this data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests and rights, or the processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, particularly in the place of your habitual residence, place of work or the alleged infringement. The local point of contact is the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Saxony-Anhalt.
